Children in Need Maths Challenges

Whiterose Maths teamed up with Children in Need and set challenges for us to have a go at, we loved it!

ROAD TO RIAT STEM CHALLENGE

The day began with the children teaming up to design, build, and test three unique gliders. 

In the afternoon, the mission continued with a groundbreaking activity – The Sustainability of Aerospace. We envisioned and designed a sustainable aircraft of tomorrow, crafting posters to showcase our revolutionary ideas.

Anti-Bullying Day

Today, Mrs Davies kicked off the day with an anti-bullying collective worship, then we had a live lesson with Hacker T Dog. We all had great fun. This afternoon, we designed our own odd socks and even got the chance to act out some role-play.

World War ll Day 

This term we are focusing our writing on World War II. Today we listened to a short radio clip from 1939 when Neville Chamberlain declared war on Germany. Then we got the chance to write our own diary entry imagining we were back in 1939. 

We've had a great start to our 2nd term, exploding with Bonfire Night poetry!
